Mitch is here to push. And by push I mean, push you to do well. He will tell you the sky is the limit and then he’ll hold you up and help you reach for the stars. In his 25 years of marketing, Mitch Lipon has learned that there is always room to go to the limits, break down the barrier, and then ask where the next milestone is. Embracing efficiency every step of the way, Mitch has conquered all the latest technologies to ensure not a second or a penny is wasted.
The Know It All (Analyze & Solve)
William is our resident know it all. He has his hands in every pot. William Weidendorf started out as an IT consultant who quickly learned the ins and outs of business processes, pushing him towards business software development. Along the way he has become intermingled with marketing strategies across the board, using his passion for learning it all, to become a master of it all.
When he’s not at the office, he can be found playing with the latest and greatest tech and gadgets, and on occassion has even been known to get out and enjoy the golf course (even if the golf course doesn’t feel the same way about him). The Man Behind the Curtains (Solve & Implement)
Dave is truly the man behind the curtain. He is the genius sitting at the computer, in the mythical far off land, writing the magical code to make our offerings as effective as possible. By starting at MSU Dave Genord II was able to leverage his ability to write 300 word papers in 100 words (without losing a single point) and channel it into streamlined application and program development.
The Talker (Implement & Tell Everyone About It)
Chatty Cathy has nothing on our resident talker. Katie has to have the phone pried from her ear, an egg timer set for internal meetings, and has to be dragged away from our clients when discussing strategy. Katie Urbain got her start by standing on a milk crate hollering about the educational books she developed, quickly adapting to the latest tools to reach her target audience most efficiently.
In her free time Katie likes to cook, her favorite (only) dish is Breakfast For Dinner. When choosing a vacation spot her only requirements are heat, sun, and sand. If she won the lottery she would continue to work (at least a little) and would spend a minimum of three days a week on the golf course.
Design Super Hero (Design Lead & Illustrator)
Dave is our Sketch Armstrong. When you have a rough idea he’ll have it whipped up on his note pad faster than a speeding bullet. The super hero in Dave’s blood was boiling early, before he quit wetting the bed he was spending his days drawing up phenomenal characters, dreaming up ways to make the written word shorter with the use of imagery. Dave spends his free time dreaming of actually being a real super-hero, and when he takes a break from fighting crime and rescuing cats out of trees he is busy writing his own comic book.
Design Super Hero (Design Lead & Graphic Designer)
Jessica is keeping her Super Hero identity a mystery. She’s a bit old-fashioned, I mean no one has a secret identity these days. When the streets are quiet Jess is hard at work in the Xspond office identifying Pantone colors in a single glance, using InDesign to build fabulous marketing campaigns with zero use of the magic wand. When Jess is free from all of her work and hero duties you can find her ball-room dancing, playing frisbee, sword fighting, or shooting flaming arrows from her recurve bow. She is currently looking for volunteers to set the apple on their head for her!
